Cookie policy

The rule
Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI, and the AEPD cookie guide, require information and, when storage is not strictly necessary for the service you asked for, consent before writing to or reading the device.
What this app stores
Cookie patrosca_session: the account session. It is strictly necessary. Page scripts cannot read it. It lasts 30 days (8 hours for an admin account) and, on HTTPS, is sent only over an encrypted connection.
Local storage in the browser keeps your trips, interface preferences and the fact that you closed this notice. That is the service you are using. Trips are not written without an account. You cannot upload or attach photos, and they are not stored in the browser.
There are no analytics, advertising or social-media cookies.
An information notice
In ordinary use that storage is strictly necessary. The app therefore shows an information notice with a link to this page, not a banner asking you to accept or reject.
Exception: if the Google map is offered, its script may set Google cookies, which are not necessary, because the default map is OpenStreetMap. Only then do we ask for consent before loading it. If you refuse, you stay on OpenStreetMap.
Services that do not set our cookies
OpenStreetMap tiles, OSRM routes and the fonts (served from this same site) are not cookies we set. The IP on those requests is described in the Privacy policy. Turnstile, when signup uses it, runs inside the registration you are requesting; Cloudflare handles the storage for that check.
How to delete them
The session cookie is cleared when you sign out or delete the account, and from the browser settings. Other local storage is cleared from the browser's site data or, for the account's trips, with “Delete account”.
